Johnny

Johnny "Wishbone" Wilson chose music as a vehicle for communication at the age of six in Oakland, California. He began with piano lessons and played flute though grade school and finally the upright bass throughout high school jazz bands. Johnny then attended California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, for a degree in film and video production with a minor in performance. He has toured, recorded and composed for many artists (2pac, Digital Underground, Too $hort, and the Counting Crows to name a few and for many major record labels Warners Bros, Interscope Records, Atlantic Records). He moved to Los Angeles in 2003 to pursue a career as a composer for film and television. He owns and operates a recording facility that is deticated to all elements of audio production. From complete musical scores to voice over and ADR. Since his relocation to LA he has composed music for Trailers, Commercials, recording artists as well as major motion pictures. The films he has scored have been in multiple film festivals (Tribeca, Chicago, Los Angeles, Cannes, and Locarne). Johnny plays several instruments with integrity and is able to capture the nuances of each project to reflect its true inner vision. Johnny is currently on tour in Europe thru the end of the summer. Johnny is also a Scropio.
