I'm Mexican, Cuban & Yaqui Indian-- born and raised in the City of Angels as well as my beloved Guadalajara. Music is what drives me. I "pretend" :-) to play guitar, congas, vihuela, some keys, cajon and I'm working on a couple more. Now, I'm eyeing the Cuban Tres as well as the trumpet (courtesy of my best, Crystal) and violin (courtesy of a talented-ass mofo named Tsunami G.) By the way, violin was the first instrument I picked up as a kid and after a group of us performed at the Hollywood Bowl when I was about 10 years old, I let it go...big mistake people..oh well, it's never too late, right?The cause of my happiness is being able to consistently find "balance" in all areas of your life. There's time to be crazy and irresponsible, but there's also time to get yer' shit together and make things happen. As much as I love to be a lady, I can be such a tomboy. As much as I yearn for chivalry and chick flicks, I equally love watching UFC fights, motorcycle racing and boxing matches. I don't take myself too seriously, but there are times when I have to put my foot down and let people know what I think. Lastly but most importantly, I live for the Lord, Our Savior. Even though, life makes it difficult- I try to keep this in the forefront of my mind as much as possible. OK, I seriously have to get back to work so my ad ends here, people.
