My focus is family, true friends, and both the school I teach and the one I learn in, though they are often one in the same.As a philosophy I try to embrace the Tao of my own life. I seek understanding of the human condition both narrowly in my own life and on the broad scale. I believe in God but do not actively pursue any doctrine nor follow any church.I love life, community, and nature. All my life though I have studied leadership, conflict, combat, and warfare in all it's many forms. Thus I have have a belief of the Soldier as an instument of peace and retribution. I am a disciple of the will not neccessarily the method. As a warrior who lacks the will is lost, as is a man alone in the wilderness. Perhaps even while surrounded by the modern world .I have come to know that it is not enough to think of or just dream a thing. One must take pains to make it reality. I must be one part undisciplined dreamer, one part stratagist, one part motivational speaker, then three parts apprentice, journeyman, and master in equal measure.Big dreams beyond scope scope of ones abilities amount to nothing more than holding a handful of air and saying it is gold. Thus my interests are to gain mastery of my life, without the illusion of control. To affect change and to heal more than harm.
