About Me

It all began in 2001. Such an epic entrance. Thegenesis of what is now known as THP began at church campwith one Josh Deane and Jess Gibler. Both shared anequal vision of forming a band. After asking JJ Fletcherand Kyle Casey on board, the band began as [insert namehere]...well, actually, there was no name. A few monthsafter asking Kyle, Josh came up with the name "TheTriggerhappy Pacifists", since then, it has beenshortened to THP. The band met again at another churchcamp and began to practice together, but faced one of themany obstacles in the band's lifetime, distance. Due totheir meeting at church camp there was considerabledistance between band members, but whenenver they gottogether, they managed to play like they had been playingtogether for quite some time. Soon after, came the firstchange in lineup, at recording time, Jess Gibler wasreplaced as drummer by Jon Fletcher. A considerable timelater, after they had played their first show, JJFletcher left the band to pursue other interests. Thisleft Josh and Kyle as the original members and JonFletcher. Jake Ryan was added as bassist, completing thelineup for THP. There are great things in store forTHP!!
THP is a band of Christians, we are here to promote goodvalues with positive meanings in our songs. Our purposeis not to be in-your-face Christians, but to spread God'slove in our everyday lives, and to use our talents in thebest way possible.
