Drum@tix is dramatic!!!!
He brings varied and eclectic musical influences to create innovative and experimental sounds. Specialising in the genres of broken beat, hip hop and soul, his music always combines both a keen sense of commercial appeal and strong artistic integrity.
His formative years were spent learning production, playing drums and being involved as an MC in the Young and Restless collective. However Drum@tix soon began to drift away from the rapping and become more interested in playing music, especially drums. He joined City and Islington College in 2000 and began to play more and more with other musicians.
In 2002, Drum@tix began jamming with college mates Shy 'n' Awkward (bass) and K-Loe ((keys). This eventually led to the formation of hip hop band "Twenty IX"
