I think rather, it's what isn't my interest? I enjoy all forms of art, being visual, theatrical, musical, and cinematic. I partake is sports, both competitive and recreation. My main sport is soccer and then peridocially rugby, but I have always been involved with basketball, volleyball, football, hockey, rollerblading, skateboarding, dirtbiking, running, and whatever else I can get myself into. I am a fan of a good puzzle, book, and crafts. I'm a mean chef and I am enthrawled with gutting houses (interior construction/design). I play bass at the best of times, I really need to give it more attention though. I plan on learning percussion for my friend's (for now) solo band. And, lastly I love being involved on my grandparent's farm, I hope to take it over someday. Farm life is like no other, the animals and agriculture makes one feel one with the earth, as well as it can act like my own large palette for art of all different mediums.
Who wouldn't I like to meet is the question. Can't be close minded, people are what makes us social beings. And Melanie Stimmel who currently dominates the art world!
I would say I'm particularly eclectic on what I enjoy in music. I'm open to anything that holds merit, meaning that pop songs written by some random person and sung by an artists who can't sing unless they have voice regulators, are not good songs. So, my music taste will vary depending on my mood. Artists/bands that could be considered my favorites are: Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Jefferson Airplane, CCR, Steve Miller Band, David Bowie, Queen, The Ramones, The Clash, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, The Supremes, Billie Holiday, Michael Jackson (only for Thriller and younger), Blondie, Annie Lennox, The Smiths, Faith No More, INXS (with Michael Hutchens), Nirvana, Collective Soul, Tool, System of a Down, Jack off Jill, Garbage, Bjork, Natalie Merchant, Tori Amos, Sia, Ani DiFranco, Missy Elliot, Lauren Hill, Erykah Badu, St. Germain, Massive Attack, Portishead, Lamb, PJ Harvey, Leslie Feist, Regina Spektor, The Dresden Dolls, Poe, Fiona Apple, The Mars Volta, At The Drive-In, Mogwai, Do Make Say Think, Bright Eyes, Thursday, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Morningwood and the list goes on and on.
This is even worse that the music, my father and I have quite the movie collection. Favorites consist of (in no particular order): Tank Girl, Run Lola Run, Pulp Fiction, Tape, We Don't Live Here Anymore, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Roman Holidays (any many other Audrey Hepburn films), Halloween, Psycho, Vertigo (and other Alfred Hitchcock films), Gia, Ghost World, Dirty Pretty Things, Boys Don't Cry, Amelie, Das Experiement, Anatomie (and the sequel), Beyond Boarders, Closer, Empire Records, Mississippi Burning, A Beautiful Mind, The Gift, Elizabeth, Clay Pigeons, Crash, Edward Scissorhands, Dancer in the Dark, A Nightmare Before Christmas, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, Predator, Dracula, Shadow of the Vampire, Interview with the Vampire, Spaceballs...and this could go on forever.
Couldn't be bothered, other than having two particular season collections, which consist of Six Feet Under and Dead Like Me
EVERYTHING! Well not exactly, but my favorite book is Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins. I generally enjoy his writing. I range in a wide variety of genres from poetry to non-fiction.
Mother and Father by far. Good friends are always encouraging! Other inspirations would be Audrey Hepburn, Diane Arbus, Wonder Woman, Shirley Manson, John Blaise, you.
