In 2004 bassist Rawkitt Colton and drummer Joey Arias set out to form a group that would put rawk back in rock and roll. The idea was simple, get back to the roots of straight ahead, hard driving rock, and couple it with a high energy stage show. Steve Snider came onboard in 2006 to handle guitar duties. “Steve is just a monster guitar player. He added a fresh approach on the guitar to the tunes we’d already written, and is a prolific writer himself; the songs we’ve written with Steve since he joined have become my favorites to play live." says bassist “Rawkitt†Colton. After flirting and performing with different singers, Switched-On has found not only a vocalist in Gabriel Ravyn (veteran singer of local metal bands Nimisis, Blitzkill, and Yesterdays Hero), but the only frontman capable of delivering the bands raunchy brand of rock and roll to the masses. Switched-On has taken their unique stage show to a variety of venues and clubs throughout Virginia.
