Valentino Rossi - "What If I Had Never Tried It" The Autobiography
the greatest star to rise in the MotoGP class and arguably the greatest rider of all time, at least since Freddie Spencer. if you dont know bikes, you probably dont know who he is... but he's one of the most famous, highest paid sportsmen in the world; with the likes of David Beckham (football), Kobe Bryant (basketball), Michael Schumacher (Formula 1), Shaun Alexander (US football), Ichiro Suzuki (baseball).
MotoGP #69 Nicky Hayden. he's not the most talented rider in history, nor is he the most skilled; he is the most driven. one World Championship may be all that's in him, but he achieved his ultimate goal. in a true display of desire, emotion, and consistency, he brought MotoGP back to America with the type of class, fanfare, and emotion only a true champion can. chances are good that he will not successfully defend his title from Valentino Rossi or Dani Pedrosa next year, but that in no way diminishes what he has done to bring the sport into the homes of millions more world wide in just 2 seasons.
