Declare Guerre Nucleaire

About Me

Weaves a magical lower case world of buzzing synths, strange percolating rhythms, disembodied psychedelic guitars, simple folky strum, and dense sheets of processed drone and whir occupying a sonic space somewhere between the freaky forest folkies and the spaced out drone-y drifters. Wanders freely back and forth often pausing with one foot in each, wrapping sweet little bundles of buzzing steel strings in tripped out sci-fi buzz and bleep, while conversely taking washed out smears of outerspace ambience and spreading them out beneath melancholy acoustic guitar melodies.

My Interests

Bangin' clothes, bangin' wine, things that go 'bang,' bangin' local bands in small rooms, chicks with bangs, the Bangles, the sound of my car bangin' furiously on all six cylinders, and banging my head against walls unnecessarily and doing things just to prove that I can, even if nobody else is watching. I also LOVE thoroughbred racing, Porsches, really special bottles of wine and cheap ones that are really good, cooking at home, trying to be an expert without being a snob, seeing bands in small venues before they're famous, trying to explain why one thing is genius while another thing is completely lame, traveling, surprises, modern design, and considerate, generous, gracious people with good manners.

I'd like to meet:

You Know Yer Indie. Let's Sub-Categorize.
You're a True Punk. You know that punk isn't all about studded jackets and mohawks. If you're political, you're actually informed. Most of the stuff you love is from before the 80s, though you know bands like Fugazi kept the spirit going.
