About Me

I believe very much in introspection. That is why I will be as honest as I can about myself. My most identifying characteristic is that I'm not good with people I don't know well. It's something I can't help, but I'm getting better at it. Makes it hard to meet chicks, but I survive. Overall, I'm very happy, and I like to stand out, I want ot be different; I hate the fact that I'm too afraid of scaring away potential friends if I act or dress too unusually. Unfortunately, that's why I'm tame in public most of the time. To my friends who know me well, I'm a pretty regular, fun-loving guy. I wish I wasn't so regular though.

My Interests

socializing, sports, concerts/shows, video games, reading, writing, self-reflection, driving, doing crazy shit every now and then, etc.

I'd like to meet:

I want a girl with a short skirt and a long . . . jacket.

Music:

Right now, I'm a fledgling Punk Rock enthusiast. Currently, my favorite band is NOFX. I think fat mike (NOFX's lead singer) is a lyrical and musical genious. I've loved punk rock since I started listening to Goldfinger probably 6 years ago, but I never really dove into the genre and swam around in it. I'm just touching the surface still, but I'm always looking for a new punk band to tickle my fancy. Letter Kills is one of my latest enjoyments. Before my punk infatuation, I listened heavily to the folk rock of Mason Jennings and Ben Harper. Also, plenty of diverse alternative has always been a part of my music collection.

Movies:

Pulp Fiction, High Fidelity, Boondock Saints, Kill Bill, Go, Swingers, Big Lebowski, Donnie Darko, Wet Hot American Summer, Matrix, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Zoolander

Television:

try to aviod it, loved the X-files though

Books:

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintanance, Ender's Game, Stranger in a Strange Land, Madame Bovary, Hard Times, Shell Silverstien Poetry, and my personal favorite, The Chosen by Chaim Potok
