I am a Christian, an artist, a nature fanatic, an animal lover, a vegetarian, and a pacifist, among other things. I love to draw, and I am grateful to have such a wonderful gift. I love being outdoors, and I am absolutely fascinated by the wonders of nature and God’s beautiful creations. I am a naturally introverted person. Usually it takes a long time for people to get to know the real me. However, I love who I am and who I choose to be. I may not have a perfect life, but I know I am blessed in many ways.
If there is one problem I have, it is that I care too much. This may not always be a good thing, but it is who I am nonetheless. I would do absolutely anything for the people that I love.
I like to listen to what others have to say, even if their opinions differ from my own. I believe that everyone has something to contribute. I try not to be judgmental of anyone-- that is not my job. I try to respect others’ differences, and I don't condemn people for how they choose to live.
I live only for the Lord. He comes first in all that I do. I have a very strong faith and a strong sense of self. No one will ever persuade me to change unless it is for the better. I am not easily influenced by others, and I have no desire to conform to the likes of society.
I am out to live a purpose-driven life and to make a difference in the lives of people. I think we all have some type of purpose in this world. Some of us may not have discovered what that purpose is yet, but it’s still there nonetheless. There is always going to be someone in your life that you are going to affect. I think people must realize that everything that each of us does will end up affecting someone in some way. We are all interdependent and interconnected.
I think love is a truly powerful thing that we all must be willing to open our hearts to. Love is something not only to embrace, but also to share. It is not a give-and-take, it's showing compassion and expecting nothing in return. We all must be willing to love one another no matter our differences. Love can heal all wounds. Love never fails! It can pull us through the darkest of times if we allow it to. Never give up on love, and never give up on hope. Believe me when I say that no matter where you are in life, there is always going to be someone that loves you.
With unconditional love lies forgiveness. Forgiveness may be the most difficult thing that people will have to do, but it is extremely important. Everyone has his or her faults. It’s what makes us human. Thus in being human, we have the power to choose--we can choose to love, to forgive, to reach out.
Remember, no one is ever strong enough that he does not need help. Help will always come to those who ask for it. Though surely, we must be willing to help one another, or else nothing will ever change and progress will never occur. When we reach out, we have the power to change. You change one person’s life, you change the world.
