Playing with cameras. Drewling over the new 235... and the 435 extreme is amazing! Spending other people's money to make beautiful images! Photography, editing, film/video...
This is my favorite drawing. It is titled "Willow". I know it's copyright, but I am not sure who it is by, so if anyone knows who drew this, brownie points to you! I found it years ago, searching in Google Images under "willow". I tried replicating the search and almost 500,000 hits came up! So... If anyone can find out and let me know who it is by, it would be greatly appreciated.
8mm rectilinear lens... I'm drewling! Only three of this exact lens in existence, and I got to play with it! And it has the most gorgeous coating.
And this goes out to a man that inspires me, Conrad Hall!
POKER! POKER! POKER! I host poker night whenever I can at my place! Texas hold'em here I come!
DP's or AC's that are willing to show me a trick or two!
Cute girls that don't mind a little fun!
Guys that don't mind having fun with cute girls!
I'm going through a little more of a mellow phase. Anything with Acoustic guitar and good bass. Cake, Gorillaz, Punjabi MC, and (forgive me for this, but I'm into some 50 Cent and other Rap/HipHop). You still wouldn't have to spend too much time convincing me to go to a metal concert or dancing at a club, but that's really for the experience, not the music, but it helps!
Just some of my favorites: Moulin Rouge, Boondock Saints, Maverick, One Hour Photo, Blazing Saddles, Robin Hood:Men in Tights, Big Lebowski, Shrek, Monsters Inc., Pirates of the Caribbean, Brokedown Palace, Mr. & Mrs. Smith (the plot was horrible-- but it was HOT!), anything Stanley Kubrick, and more. My DVD collection is over 300 and I have only been collecting for the 2 years. They should have "DVD-Buyers Anonymous"! I know a few people who could join!
Try not to watch it, unless I am looking at commercials or music videos for ideas.

Currently my hero is my car! Or should I say -My Bumble Bee- aka MYBMBLB. It takes me everywhere I need to go. It is a small but peppy stick that can amazingly transport: a 4ft Kino case, a Kino bin, 4 cable cross-overs, 4 furni-pads, an SDX package (including a lens package, matte box, follow focus, filters, onboard, 2 sets of sticks, a monitor, high hat, etc...), a weaver steadman 2 axis and third axis head, camera riser, Ubangy arm, 10 sandbags, 4 medium flags/silks, 6 C-stands, my two DP ditty kits, and ME! I don't know how I did it... the guys at Chapman didn't believe that the Weaver would fit anywhere. I sure showed them. And I could still see out of 2 of my mirrors. Nothing even shifted in the ride back from LA... That is why my Hero is My Bumble Bee.And for my nature class I had to fit an enitre Otto Arri SR3 Package with all of my camping stuff and my AC kit... it was a tight squeeze and scraped up a few of my windows... but MYBMBLB knows I love it... and I treat it well.
