Benning this summer where I was in the combatives finals, I didn't win but got sent to the emergency room, I was the Platoon Sgt for 1st Platoon "Warlords" Delta 1-50 and designed the platoon shirts. I'm proud to have trained with some great soldiers...and a few shitbags too. Basic was tough at times and I had many days when I didn't think i would make it out of there or i would drop dead from a heat stroke. The Drill Sgts screaming at you everyday, smoking the dog shit out of you, getting 2 min to eat chow and shower drills with 10 of your closest friends...yeah, i miss it a bit, ok not really.
