MY 3 year old DAUGHTER, music, photography, cigarettes, movies, beer, smelly socks, scabs, baseball, tequilla, dive bars, art, silversmithing, scavanger hunts, riding bikes, squeeling the tires on my bike, peeling out in my car... that one's for you Devon Spletter, My SOUL-SISTERS!, shoes that hurt my feet, moisturizer, tight pants for my big butty, the feeling after cutting my fingernails short, the feeling I get when I see someone in all black... mmmm! yea, strong women and confident men, "brown" babies, a soft bed, a loud fan to sleep to the sound of, junk stores and the time it takes to sift through them with a good girlfriend, a beautiful woman...

Miles Davis, Ministry, 16 Horsepower, Fu Manchu, Agent Orange, Joan Jett, My Morning Jacket, Midlake, Pinback, Kasabian, Portishead, Ray Charles, Cat Stevens, Roy Orbison, G•N•R... just to name a VERY few.
HORROR- The bloodier the better, ARMY OF DARKNESS, Cohen Bros movies, Cool Hand Luke, One Flew Over the Cockoos Nest, Basquiat, Beetlejuice, The Matrix Trilogy, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Goldfinger, Death Becomes Her, Splash, Flashdance, Kung Fu Hustle ugh, I love alot of movies. My favorite thing to do on a date-go to the movies by myself!
Yeah, I am one of those self-righteous... "TV IS BAD" people who act like they don't veg out in front of the TV ... History Channel, Sundance, etc...Well, TV IS bad! Sure... but, I have an 3 yr old daughter who loves to watch cartoons. So, I have become that parent that sings and dances along with their child when the favorite cartoon comes on... for Suvi, it is Lazy Town, an Icelandic kids show about eating veggies and exercising... Vibrant colors and catchy jingles... you can't go wrong!
American Sign Language (ASL) book called Joy of Signing: an illustrated guide to Sign Language. I am teaching my daughter to sign (niether one of us are hearing impaired). I hope that learning sign language together will bring us closer and give her an avenue of a second language when she is older. She has started making up signs when she is angry... she cracks me up!
MY DAUGHTER!She knows no hate, no judgment, no fear, no lust, no anger... all the things that haunt my mind, she is free from. The innocence of a child is phenomenal. If we could all be as free from society's influence, as our little ones are, the world would be a kinder place.
