Versatile was born Kedrian McPhearson on October 5. Before making his home in Dallas, Texas in 1991, Versatile migrated from Gary Indiana, Myrtle Beach, SC and Merced, California. Rapping since the age of 10, Versatiles sleek delivery and intense lyricism earned him a reputation on the streets of Dallas, winning numerous freestyle competitions. In 2000 Versatile, along with Syliztik Jones, inked a recording deal with Warner Brothers. Records under the name Virus. Virus debut album included production from Kanye West, Nissan Stewart (Bad Boy), and L.T. Hutton (Dr. Dre).
