My Interests

Again, pretty boring. I like to read, knit, scrapbook, most craft type things. I like video games. I am a homebody and my favorite thing is sleeping!

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet some new interesting people. I like having long term relationships. Would like to meet other parents with kids around my daughters age, 10.

Music:

I mostly listen to old school. I like groups like Earth, Wind & Fire, Commodores, Peabo Bryson, and the Stylistics. I also enjoy musicals and most easy listening music.

Movies:

I don't see a lot of current movies. Mostly kid movies at the theaters. Some of my favorites are The Big Chill, Message in a Bottle & Kiss Me Good-Bye. I like most Sandra Bullock movies, and Hugh Grant. I guess I like the romantic comedies.

Television:

I do watch a lot of tv. Again I am old school. I like The Nanny, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Three's Company and the Golden Girls. Of the newer shows I like Desperate Housewives, ER, Medium, Gray's Anatomy & of course Survivor, The Apprentice, Fear Factor & most of the reality tv.

Books:

I have a thing for reading books by Asian authors...maybe that I can relate more to what they are saying. The last book I read was The Dim Sum of all Things by Kim Wong Keltner. I enjoyed it, thought it was funny. I like to read Danielle Steel, again romance with a happy ending mostly. I also like Dean Koontz but have been off my scary thing for awhile now. Nicholas Sparks & of course the Harry Potter series.

Heroes:

I would have to say my parents are my heroes. The endured a lot that I would probably have not survived. Being Japanese-American there was a lot of discrimination & dislike just for the color of their skin. They lived in concentration camps but remember mostly the good that came of it.
