I love making TV shows, when I was younger I would watched tv and wonder
how the people got in that box.They were having alot of fun, and I wanted to be there.
When I got in trouble my father would send me to my room and all day I would just watch tv.
I would watch everything from "Video music box" to "Good Times" to movies like "Dolamite"
over and over again.
One year at my family reunion, my uncle Joe gave me his camcorder and he taught me
the basics of using this new gaget.I was focused on getting everything on camera.
When the day was coming to an end my uncle said "Let's Watch the tape".
Everybody laughed and was so pleased with the tape.They wanted copies of it. (hmm money) I thought !!!.
Years later one of my brothers "Buddy" started to sing in this R&B Group called "INTRO"
they put out a few records on Atlantic records "Come Inside", Ribbon In The Sky", "Let me be the One".He even helped write some songs on Mary J Blige's
first album.Well I went on tour with them and I had a job filming them behind the scenes.I got to meet a lot of good people in the business.That gave me the confidence and understanding that I needed to be around industry artist and know that they are real people with real lives.It's not just what you see on tv or read in the paper.Behind the scenes is where the true story is!!!!
I couldn't just live in the shadows of my big Brother's success, I had to play my part and bring the same vision Home to Maryland and DC.I started with the local talent shows and open mic nights.Thanks to all the clubs like Ebony Inn, The Spot, Crossroads, The Aqua, Studio 54, State of the Union,
Dream/Love, The old DC live/VIP, Heart and Soul cafe, and Bar Nun.
With all the hot footage I was getting, I needed an outlet.
For me to get ahead the right way I had to go to school and take some classes on Film & Television Production and Business Management.After that
the TV Show "Wike World" was created 1999.
