RE: is for play, serious and otherwise. Created and maintained as a collective, its efforts are in support of significant work - textual, visual, or both. Work that is often marginalized or ignored outright by established institutions. Our ongoing projects include The Awkward Alligator , the Excerpts project page, The Wish Tank , and several pieces of mail art. Each is unique in the expression and experimentation it affords. Experimentation in image, language, context, and culture. Originality but also accessibility are essential to the discourse and community support we hope to create. The ability to do good work worth the risk and show decency towards others in their work are the only conditions for contribution.
