My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Stephanie Gallagher: Lead & Background VocalsAndrew Gallagher: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard and Drum Programming & Background Vocals.
Influences: Stephanie: It is utterly impossible to narrow down Stephanie's influences on to a single page. Bono? Neil Diamond? Prince? Michael Jackson?!! We don't know. All that we do know is that she is a musical oddity. Something inside her mind does not work like the rest of us. She is a sonic sponge constantly absorbing the steady stream of fluctuating intervals of high pressure and low pressure. It is said that she can decipher the melody of barometric pressure changing from day to day. (She later composed a song inspired by this phenomenon, aptly named "Barometric pressure") She can sing entire jingles from obscure commercials 10, 15, 20 years old! Researchers have studied her mind and have concluded that is very similar to the Matrix. A wonderland of data, logic and randomness contained within a fleshy boney mass of synapses covered by hair. Scientist also fear that this once in a generation vocal genius may one day implode under the enormous stress of ever increasing data and information processing and than blow up like a giant supernova scattering its debris throughout the universe!!! So when you ask influences, you really have no idea what you are talking about. We have yet to fully understands what influences her. Perhaps it is we who are under the influence....Andrew: There are so many!! I'll just start from the time when I was a young little whipper snapper and list them chronologocally from the time I was a about 10 years old. pink floyd, the doors, led zeppelin, ozzy(mainly randy rhoads), jimi hendrix, iron maiden, judas priest, black sabbath, metallica, anthrax, slayer , misfits, megadeth, cro-mags, crumbsuckers, bad religion, public enemy, murphy's law, nuclear assault, j. s. bach, black flag, bob marley, the ramones, beethtoven, yngwie malmsteen, david bowie, james brown, red hot chili peppers, guns n roses, u2, rich mullins, kieth green, andrae crouch, john coltrane, twila paris, times square church choir, new jersey mass choir, iona, jennifer knapp, audio adrenaline, third day, pod, chevelle, the wreckers, sugarland, carie underwood, kirk franklin, audio slave.... I know there are dozens of major influences I'm forgetting. There are also minor ones, some that I have just heard in passing, maybe some r&b, rap, folk, techno or electronica. I may not have listened consistently to it but it had an influence none the less. I am also influenced by my music equipment which at times inspires me to go in directions i normally wouldn't go.
Sounds Like: Rock N Roll, Dance, Techno, Metal, Blues, Acoustic Rock, Gospel, RnB, Jazz, Classical.......We really don't know, but thats the way we like it. Not the flavor of the moment.
