About Me

I'm Tyrone Quade. I'm a CIA hit man. Therefore, for obvious reasons, I'm not submitting a picture of my face for this profile. I'm sure you'll understand. To experience my adventures read Bryan Cassiday's thriller "Fete of Death." For the most part, it's true. The author does, however, tend to exaggerate certain aspects of my life. Dramatic license, I guess. I'm not a writer, I'm a killer, so I don't know. Anyway, the book cuts pretty close to the bone, and I recommend it. I'm not very good at making friends, the lasting kind, that is. I don't hang around too long in one place, which dictates a life of anomie for me. It's a hollow life. Don't get me wrong: I don't regret my life. But you can see how it doesn't make for a lot of lasting friendships. After all, how many people out there would want to be the best friend of a hit man? Even a CIA hit man, for that matter. As for my ethos, think existentialist and you've got me down cold. Hell, why beat around the bush? I'm not good at making friends, I'm good at making corpses. RIP.

My Interests

Trips to Las Vegas. Planning a hit. The shooting range where I shoot wadcutters. Movies.

Music:

Guns 'n' Roses, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones.

Movies:

No Country for Old Men. The Godfather. The Godfather Part II. Howard Hawks's The Thing from Another World. Don Siegel's The Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Ripley's Game. The Manchurian Candidate.

Television:

Sopranos. 24--I'm ticked off it won't be on this year. And, come to think of it, they canceled The Sopranos.

Books:

Fete of Death. Day of the Jackal--for obvious reasons. I like some of Vince Flynn's stuff, like Act of Treason. Robert Ludlum's Bourne trilogy. Anything by Jack Higgins. I like Ernest Hemingway's work--anyone who could write the short story A Clean, Well-lighted Place knows what it's like to be a hit man, knows how solitary it is. I wish I had more time to read.

Heroes:

There are no more heroes.
