I am cursed to fall in love with shows that television channels insist on cancelling because quality is apparently unmarketable. If I love it, it's a good bet it'll be getting canned pretty soon.Some of the shows that I've loved / currently love - Scrubs, Futurama, Firefly, Freaks & Geeks, Studio 60, How I Met Your Mother, The Office (both versions), Battlestar Galactica, Arrested Development, The Night Stalker ... the list goes on (and on and on)
I don't read nearly as many books as I wish I had time for.The Pleasure of My Company, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, American Gods, Neverwhere, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Bunnicula, The Stranger, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Shopgirl, Lies My Teacher Told MeI'm also a comic geek through and through, though I tend to prefer the comics that don't feature people in tights. Bendis, Moore, Ennis, Ellis, Gaiman ... it's a long list. I love nothing more than discovering a new series or run and tearing through it in one sitting.
