About Me

started messing around with sound in the early 80's using a 4 track reel to reel and a cassio keyboard i later managed to get my hands on a jen synth and a 808 drum machine which meant i could now create the sounds needed to produce electro and techno. i became the resident dj for a breakers club where i incorperated dj sets with my jen and 808. this went down well with the breakers and started to sell a lot of mix tapes. when the breakdance scene started to fade, so did my interest in producing music untill the early 90's when i was introduced to midi setups and music software. the 1st program i had the pleasure of using was called octmed for the amiga pc,a very basic program compared to todays standards but did its job well. i joined a couple of local dj's and performed live breakbeat sets in clubs around hull and bradford area. i moved to holland for a couple of years and performed a few gigs in amsterdam and alcmaar and ended up doing a set in oslo norway. from time to time i teach music programing/recording and help out local bands by live mixing which i get great pleasure from, aint got the space for kit list overkill anymore so i stick to music programs like propellerhead reason and rebirth, the only kit i have now is my good old jen, 808 and my novation bass station. thats all i need, all the rest went on e bay . i got a spare midi cable if anyone wants it ;)
