About Me

I'm a playwright, musician, composer, actor, director, have a theater company, and in real life I'm a magazine editor. I hang out at coffee houses, with friends or with a spiral notebook. Nice guy, though a lotta people tell me it's not a good idea. Don't really follow the crowd. Ain't bragging, just the way it is.Let's see.... I started up a touring band with a few folks, I have a wonderful boyfriend, I'm working at my job to start up a new magazine for painters... I have lotsa blogs, so if you wanna know, start readin'.

who i'd like to meet

Well... read through this stuff and it should come to you. i get along with most people. I don't have a lot of silly rules about who can and can't be a "MySpace friend." I wouldn't mind meeting Asha Bhosle, either.

My Interests

I'm aware of a world beyond me.

Music:

Lots of Bollywood. I got hooked on it thanks to AOL radio. Also Mozart, a lotta classical, early classical mostly, techno & trance, new age (I play it, too), folk, Hawaiian. I can make my own ..boards & write for whatever... lately I've been working with a band for some of the shows we do, we have a sax, clarinet, bass, drums, keys, and a guitar on occasions. I have a few CDs at the ready. But Bollywood changed my life.

Movies:

Last three I saw were Capote, Brokeback, and Harry Potter Goes to Brokeback Mountain Searching For The Temple Of Doom and Looking to Avenge This or That Jedi Knight. It was a very long movie. I like movies but I kinda watch them when other people ask me to. I saw Life Of Brian a lot years ago. Okay it's a year later from when I updated this last time and I still haven't been to a movie. Well now it's a year later, I was on the board of Q-Fest, a local queer film fest, and it had some killer movies! I don't like a lotta movies so if I can set through four or five, they must be good. Shelter, Nina's Heavenly Delights, The Gynmast, Saving Marriage were some really cool shows.

Television:

It works but it doesn't get any reception. So not a lot goin' on here. When I'm other places I like some of the sci-fi stuff like Stargate and Battlestar and the Family Guy/All American Dad combo's pretty cool too. TV news would be nice if there was ever any news on it. Old Carol Burnet skits are pretty cool.

Books:

I read history... I go to Borders and buy history books on African civil wars and the Magna Carta and just other obscure moments. Because if you're living somewhere, it's not remote. I've read a lot of Michael Swanwick and Isabel Allende, fiction wise. Sometimes I have no idea what the heck he's taking about but his style is so good I don't care.

Heroes:

More and more I start to admire people who when the get older, they keep trying new things, they keep adding to their creativity, and thus giving to the world. Folks like Asha Bhosle, Martha Graham, Joseph Haydn come to mind.

500 years, twice in a decade

I guess it's... not really... unprecented so much as we did it to ourselves. The floods, tragic as they are... we managed to create this problem by building levees to hold the river back all throughou...

So Nashville was good! yay. seriously, it was. owing to the fact that 1/2 the band couldn't make it, I was thrust into the vocal spotlight, and yet... and YET, the guy at the place we played and two o...

Things are bad at the airlines and we can’t wait to make them even more difficult!

Not sure I get what's up with the airlines. Most folks, upon seeing that everyone is pissed off at their service, go out of their way to please their customers. Airlines, on the other hand, continuall...
