CROSSROADS ERIC CLAPTON TRIBUTE

About Me

"Ric "Bluesfuze" Arra has been following Eric Claptons career since Cream when he saw the trio at madison square garden around the age of eight. At that show is when he realized he wanted to be a guitarist like clapton. It was just the way he approached the instrument that got me.. his vibrato and choice of notes..it gave me goose bumps when he played. For many years Ric had played in bands famous and not so famous he played with Tony Thompson of power station and chic a short stint with KC and the sunshine band as well as members of the handy award winners The Roach Thompson blues band. He had the been given the moniker of EC junior by the band leader of Kc's band and it has been a running thing through out his carreer. Ric has opened for and played on same stage and billing with bands such as george thorogood, al jerau war bonnie raitt rick james and many blues giants such as coco montoya pinetop perkins downchild blues band ike turner and his personal favorite ana popovic. He still works with his wife in the lady A blues band when he canAfter many bands he decided to form a cream trib band with his then partner drummer Fred Stanley which turned into the unit we now have consisting of stanley on drums, gary bush on bass and vocals and newest member steve douglas on guitar and vocals. This unit spans Claptons carreer from mayall to present. Crossroads lives up to capturing the excitement of an eric clapton concert"
