Dear Friends,
The Board of Directors for The Trout Haven Kids Come First Foundation would like to invite you to help us change the lives of some deserving kids. We need your help to send kids to Camp Trout Haven in Deadwood, South Dakota & support our various other programs. We got involved for one reason: We believe that we can change the life of kids, one kid at a time

The first step is to get involved and take responsibility in the community. Camp Trout Haven is an educational, fun and positive experience for military, foster, at risk and underprivileged kids located in Deadwood, South Dakota. With your help we would like to send teens to Camp Trout Haven. Military kids whose parents are stationed in Iraq or Afghanistan. The Kids Come First Foundation wishes to honor the brave men and women serving our country in Iraq and Afghanistan. Camp Trout Haven would like to roll out the red carpet for the kids of deceased and active duty military personnel.
They deserve the vacation experience that their parents would give them if they were here – we can make this happen.
"I am from a very active military family and I talk to the troops. They appreciate that we care enough about the well being of their families to send their teens to an educational camp that will help them deal with the stress of having a parent who is fighting a war, as well as giving spouses and guardians a well-needed break. It’s a small price to pay for the brave soldiers fighting and dying for our freedoms."
The Kids Come 1st Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit designed to help all kids.

Mission Statement: Investing In Today's Youth for a Better Tomorrow. The Trout Haven Kids Come First Foundation believes that together we can make a difference in the future by empowering today's youth through education, action and social change.
Our goal: “Is to invest in our kids, one youth at a time, creating productive world leaders for a better tomorrow ”

The Future: The Foundation's long term goal is a rural location that we can start a Kids Come 1st Campus. A campus that has classrooms, playgrounds, sleeping quarters, a gym, stage and library. A 100% stress free safe zone dedicated to the kids - both fun and educational.
Together, I know we can make a difference in the future by empowering today's youth through education, action and social change.
