Rock Kandy is a hard rock project formed in 2005 and is the brainchild of Oregon native Jeremy Brunner (Guitar) which also includes Sunset Strip great Kit Ashley on vocals (formerly of Big Bang Babies) and Jimmy D'Anda.
D'anda is formerly of Gold and Platinum artist BULLETBOYS which were signed by Warner Bros heavy weight Ted Templeman of Van Halen, Doobie Brothers and Aerosmith fame. Jimmy brings his talents to Oregon helping Jeremy fuse pop hooks, BIG guitars, and Slammin' Drums!
Our story begins with the unknown guitarist Jeremy Brunner who had over 40 music ideas and wanted to work with someone to turn them into GREAT songs! So.......he hired Jimmy D’Anda to produce, play bass, drums and co-write the songs, but they needed a vocalist. Brunner and D’Anda auditioned many vocalists, in the end Kit Ashley ended up being the one to join the ranks.
The band has been hard at work and has recorded demos which have been made available on MySpace for all to hear. The songs are rough demos. However, they make it clear that this project has the potential to win the ears of all those who are looking for some good time rock!
