Born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, the interest in beat writing came at a young age. In second grade Joseph Mapp fell in love with the sequencer on Casio keyboards. A keyboard was the one thing he wanted for Christmas every year, but due to the financial situation of his parents, he was never able to get one. His older cousin Tigah (the first person on the top 8 friend list) came to the rescue. While Joseph was in 8th grade, Tigah allowed Joseph to borrow his keyboard for about a year. From then on, Joseph could not keep his hands off of some musical equipment. After years of practice and perfecting his craft, Joseph feels like he is ready to make his mark in the game.
