How I made my profile:
I used MyWackoSpace.com 's amazing MySpace Editor .ENGLISH//Childrain was born at the end of the 2007 summer in the suburbs of the capital city of Mcdonald Islands. The band was formed after the the Bengoa brothers (Iker at the lead guitar and Iñi at the vocals) came together with Mikel, a.k.a. Senphol (or Senpollo if preferred) who was as tattooed as skillful at the drums. With this initial line-up they started rehearsing and composing but they realized something was missing. Iker, according to to his ancestral wisdom, realized by the end of the second rehearsal that they needed a second guitar player to fullfill the requirements of the composing process and give the band the hammering strength it deserved, so they didn’t hesitate to call a collegue from the Heard Islands called Kobra who eventually joined the band in September. After several attempts to find a Bass player, Dani joined the band (great guy), but due to priorities finally left, leaving the four members with their pants down again. But the hope to find a new bass player turned into reality when and old friend of the band (former Drum Tech and periodic Argentinean) decided to put his rhythmic skills at the service of the new band. People called him Biris (even for his family his real name is a total mystery). Childrain was set up... With the help of a miserable computer and a mixing table but always in the pleasant company of their beloved beer,they came up with what you may now listen in this site, the first demo of the band ever made.With poor knowledge in recording and mastering, and faithless hope on in succeeding this demo was recorded.This is the story of a band that in a period of approximately six months turned from a three-people project into a solid band which has composed eight songs, self recorded a demo, and is looking forward to playing live with enthusiasm. This is the story of Childrain… -------------------------------------- CASTELLANO//Childrain nació a finales de verano del año 2007 en los suburbios de la capital de las islas Mcdonald. La banda fue creada tras la unión de los hermanos Bengoa (Iker a la guitarra e Iñi a las voces) con Mikel, alias Senphol (o Senpollo en su defecto) que era un prodigio con tatuajes tras la bateria.Con esta inicial formación comenzaron los ensayos, y se empezaron a crear los temas, pero algo faltaba…Iker, con su ancestral sabiduría, se dio cuenta para el segundo ensayo de que necesitaban una segunda guitarra para cumplir con la exigencia de las composiciones y otorgar mayor potencia sonica a la banda, así que no dudaron en llamar a un colega de las islas Heard llamado Kobra, que se unió definitivamente en septiembre.Tras varios anuncios infructuosos entro Dani a la banda (gran tipo), pero por cuestión de prioridades tuvo que abandonarla, con lo cual los cuatro miembros se quedaron de nuevo con sus metaleros culos al aire…pero un amigo de la banda (anterior técnico de batería y esporádico argentino) decidió delegar sus servicios rítmicos a Childrain…le llamaban Biris (su nombre real es un autentico enigma incluso para su familia…).Childrain estaba completo.Tras la entrada del magnánimo Biris, ya a principios de Enero, el grupo decidió grabar por cuenta propia en su local. Con la miserable ayuda de un ordenador y una mesa de mezclas y con la agradable compañía de la cerveza , grabaron lo que a la postre estáis escuchando; la primeriza maqueta del grupo. Con unos conocimientos nulos sobre grabación y masterización, y con unas fatídicas esperanzas en el resultado final comenzaron a grabar. El resultado es lo que escuchais ahora.Esta es la historia del grupo que en el espacio de poco mas de seis meses a pasado de ser un proyecto de tres personas a formar una banda sólida, crear 8 canciones, autoproducir una maqueta y tener unas ganas increíbles de salir a tocar.
