FROM OUR ROOTS IN THE PHILLY SUBURBS to Baltimore, Europe, East Africa, Guantanamo Bay, Haiti and the frozen fjords of Norway we bring you Unmarked Car - Music for almost any occasion. We began as a writing/recording project but have since tested our material on a naïve and unsuspecting public.
IN THE BEGINNING: In mid 2002 I was introduced to John Glasgow who just happened to be a phenomenal bass player. I was proficient enough as a drummer and guitarist but the bass was the one piece of the puzzle that I needed. We bagan writing and recording original material in our home studios.
Before long, songs began to almost write themselves and our catalogue grew to the point where we had 3-4 full-length CD’s worth of music. Although we now live in different states we have managed to keep Unmarked Car alive by recording through the internet. Unmarked Car has experimented in funk, punk, rock, and various left-of-center sound experimentation for the purpose of entertaining our two most rabid fans, ourselves. The mayhem continues today with song themes that range from love to war to various types of questionable and sometimes criminal behavior. We have since recruited the necessary musicians to take Unmarked Car to the stage. We have also collaborated with other local and non-local musicians and contributed in various studio efforts and we have contributed songs for their use in live performances. The music of Unmarked Car is dedicated to the men and women who fight to protect their respective nations and what they believe in. We will not know peace until the walls which divide us and that exist along the lines of religion, race and culture are destroyed. We hope you enjoy our music as much as we’ve enjoyed making it.Com Medo,Jason Reed
