Whats in a name?
'Backroom' : Since most of the bookings for our artists were originally spots for the backroom - smaller room - or lounge of clubs that were commercial but aimed to capture a certain image (crossing over to be 'cooler'/ partially maintaining the edge of an 'underground' that transcended the notion of a 'scene') through the backroom of the club.
What exactly do we do?
•Take care of all enquiries relating to an artist
•Represent Artists/acts in all manner of live scenarios & DJ Performances
•Promote the act's single/12"/album releases through working closely and with their label
•Strategise and Co-ordinate the artist's agenda/schedule, working closely with other agents worldwide
The Backroom headspace
Backroom Entertainment does not ask for exclusive rights and we don't ask for contracts with the Artist.
We believe that an efficient and well promoted Artist has the best chances on a wider reputation if there is a free collaboration with anyone whom we trust in the business.
If we believe in an Artist then we are willing to investigate the potential for future work collaboration.
