Regimes generally change TOWARDS brutality

What do Fear Factory, Kittie and Dillinger Escape Plan all have in common? All have had members who at one time were in Audio Terror Regime. Very few bands can claim to be a breeding ground for such talent and diversity. Comprised of former Spine members, Mike Bossier (guitars), Mike Spiers (drums), and Chris Hicks (bass) as well as former Mindstab front man Mark Lorenzo (vocals) A.T.R. holds a mirror to modern society...then shatters that mirror and holds the listener hostage with a shard against their throat. Maybe this isn't music for the masses. It is more calculated and crafted than the random drive-by of anger that has become popular today. Out of the guitar's unusual chord progressions and monsterous riffs, the drums classical orchestration and unbelievable technical precision, the bone shaking assault of the bass, and the vocal aggression to siren-song beauty the listener is left not knowing where they are. Just that they are no longer comfortable and safe. When one travels on such a disturbing and immersive journey through sound the real question becomes this: "IS AUDIO TERROR REGIME JUST PLAYING MUSIC, OR ARE THEY RECRUITING MEMBERS FOR A REVOLUTION?"
