About Me

I recorded all of the music myself in late '07 and early '08 (while in college). I wrote the songs in high school and made primitive recordings in '06 and '07 but I always felt like I could do better. These first solo recordings were really bad, I didn't use a metronome and I used low quality mics, etc, but now I'd like to think that these current recordings are just about the best I can do with the equipment I have. I use Fender guitars and basses, Marshall and Ampeg amplifiers, Pearl drums, and Zildjian cymbals. I was in two previous bands, both of which were trios and my later band-the Cardigans of Weather-only ever played gigs at graduation parties in the summer of 2007. I was the vocalist (I could sing before I went to college, now I'm just out of practice), but I haven't finished writing the lyrics for these songs yet. I have been playing guitar for about 7 years now and drums for about 2 and 1/2(again, now that I'm in a dorm, I can't play drums and I'm WAY out of practice, which sucks because I love playing drums). I recorded the music in my garage back home (it's a separate building, so I don't bug my folks), the empty bedroom in my house (now that 2 out of us 3 brothers are in college) and in my dorm here at OSU (I have many cheeky secrets on how to record very quietly).I have a bunch of influences but really I just play what I think sounds cool, I don't really care about genre, I hope you guys think it sounds cool too!
