I enjoy all of the following to varying degrees: karaoke, watching and performing burlesque, dirty jokes, hip hop dancing, oil painting, packing for trips, putting rhinestones on things that might not necessarily need rhinestones (ask me about my Fox Reality Show tote bag), watching random shit on Comedy Central and E!, going to art exhibits and museums, photoshoots, traveling, men who wear eyeliner, 2 for 1 margaritas at Fiesta Cantina, fun and frivolity in West Hollywood, though it's been awhile, looking endlessly through coffee table books about rock stars from the 60s and 70s, Miss Kitty's Parlour, magazines, Bernadette Peters, thrift store shopping, making mix CDs, concerts, seeing good stand up comedy (i.e. Louie CK, Patton Oswald, Katt Williams, Lisa Lampanelli, Dane Cook, Eddie Izzard, Paul F. Thompkins, Lewis Black, Kathy Griffin, Doug Benson), modeling, going to movies, renting movies, reading about movies (waaahhh! I want my Entertainment Weekly subscription back!), the English, quoting, hell REENACTING scenes from movies with my friends because I'm a huge nerd, Target, Urban Outfitters, musicals, hanging out with my wonderful friends, buying new eye shadows, Halloween, Mick Jagger, dinner parties, meeting random celebrities, dressing up in outrageous outfits to go out in, making new friends, Model Mayhem.com, body painting..........
Well, if I had a time machine like I've always wanted--I'm asking for one this Christmas--I would want to meet: Janis Joplin, Groucho Marx, John Lennon, Marilyn Monroe, Gene Kelly, Louise Brooks, so MANY people of times long past. I'll let you all know if I get my Christmas wish.Seriously though, I'm on MySpace for friends and aquaintences who I actually know, and to get in touch with people from my past that time and distance have separated me from. THIS IS NOT A COLLECTOR'S PROFILE--I do not add random musical groups, or people who share common interests but who live in Idaho. If you need to contact me about legitimate modeling or makeup gigs, I would be honored--drop me a line and let's see if we can work together. And please check out my Makeup by Eva MySpace page:)
Dark, moody Sondheim and Kander and Ebb/Fosse musicals (Sweeney Todd, Cabaret, etc.), 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s blues and jazz music (Muddy Waters, Ray Charles, B. B. King, Etta James, Janis Joplin, Ella Fitzgerald, Howlin' Wolf) 60s 70s rock and punk--mostly Brit (The Rolling Stones, The Sex Pistols, The Cramps, Joe Cocker, Elton John, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed), 70s funk, disco and soul (Parliment, Al Green, Marvin Gaye,Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder), 80s and 90s rock and pop (AC/DC, The B-52s, Sinead O'Connor, Tori Amos), and current neo-soul (Jill Scott, Joss Stone) and music I can shake my booty to (Missy Elliot, Outkast, Jay-Z, the Neptunes)! PLUS lately She Wants Revenge, The Killers, The White Stripes and AMY WINEHOUSE... Top Favorite Songs of All Time (in my opinion and so far): 1) Try A Little Tenderness by Three Dog Night--one of the most gorgeous, raucous songs ever recorded with an absolutely perfect build 2) Mannish Boy by Muddy Waters--I don't care who you are or what kind of music you like--this song will make you want to have sex immediately! 3) Baby Its Cold Outside by Ray Charles and Nina Simone--one of the most beautiful, sincerely romantic songs ever--the line "Your eyes are like starlight now" always makes me cry 4) Lust for Life by Iggy Pop--pure dirty rock n' roll energy 5) Maybe by Janis Joplin (Live on Ed Sullivan)--moving, compelling, and so beautiful 6) Tomorrow Never Knows by the Beatles--mind blowing, completely brilliant 7) The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face by Roberta Flack--maybe the most beautiful love song in the world 8) Anarchy In the UK by the Sex Pistols--I'm not a violent person, but this song always makes me want to get up and smash the hell out of something but in a good way--does that make sense? 9) At Last by Etta James--of course everyone has this on their lists as well, but I don't care--it's amazing! 10) Isabella Star--A song written about me. All I can say is WOW.

I never learned to read or write. Ok, that's a lie, but due to years of arduous A. P. Honors English courses, I have a hard time staying interested in novels (I read the first five chapters of the first Harry Potter and then realized I had laundry to do) but I do read a lot of non-fiction. Right now I'm working on "The Seven Addictions and Five Professions of Anita Berber" and "Vamps: An Illustrated History of the Femme Fatale".
