BORN in Lincoln, 26 Feb. 1948 always loved music. Played violin in the school orchestra,got my 1st guitar in 1967. I MARRIED in 1973,and creating music became a winter pastime. I've used quite a variety of music hardware.Started with a multitrack tape, then a digital Portastudio..using various synths,drum machines etc. mainly to create backing for guitar. IN 2002 MY WIFE DIED,I took comfort in playing guitar ! (I sold her horse and bought the Les Paul ! )' "Music forced us to take another look,pulled us from dispair,and returned us to joy and hope." RETIRED in 2003 and bought new guitars (1 electric,1 acoustic). Built my PC in 2005,on which I run Cubase,Emu Proteus Synth,augmented with Celtic Instruments from Zero-G. A friend christened me 'Catman Bob' ,'cos I had 6 cats at the time. I added the x because of my Manx heritage. IN 2006 I was reunited with a woman I was engaged to in 1969 ! She is a widow and an accomplished pianist, so the 'group' just doubled in size ? IN 2008 we got married !!! Music & PC are mainly Winter pastimes.
