About Me

Welcome to Geekson. A show created by Geeks for geeks. Covering topics that geeks like to talk about. If you wanna check out the show go to www.geekson.com or if you have Itunes, you can check it out there. There is also a forum to post on at the Geekson site to talk about really anything you want to.This show is not just for geeks and nerds however. You can be a casual sci-fi or fantasy fan and still find this show to be HIGHLY ammuseing. Geekson was started in early 2005 for fun, by 4 guys that live in L.A. The show is based on an idea Aaron had to help them all with creative thinking, but that wouldnt take up their whole lives. The show has expanded a bit to include interviews with big shots in the sci-fi and fantasy world, includeing BEAR GEORGE RR MARTIN, McCREARY, ORSON SCOTT CARD, CHRISTINA HENDRICKS, LISA LASSEK, FORREST ACKERMAN and some random interviews with people at conventions. They started with a few dozen listeners and have now grown into the thousands. Most of the shows are about an hour and a half long, depending on Aarons mood, lol. Any questions regarding Geekson can be sent here or to [email protected], or if you want to e-mail the Geeks directly there are links on the home site Geekson.com, I hope you all enjoy the show!!!Geekson | Add yourself!

Band Website: geekson.com
Band Members: Aaron Hendricks: Editor of Geekson. Aaron is a Graphic Designer in L.A. and is an Independent Filmmaker. He co-founded Group101 Films (www.group101films.com), the largest producer of short film entertainment in the world. He is married to the extremely talented (as well as another co-founder of Group101) Maureen Hendricks.------Matt Yang King: He is a geek of all trades master of none. He claims expertise in no area, but knows just enough to make him dangerous. He is an actor in Los Angeles, currently recurring on both the shows "Numb3rs" and "Strong Medicine". Matt has also guest starred on CSI, ER, Friends, and Fraiser as well as being in Species III and the Disney movie "The Stevens Get Even". His geek claim to fame is that he is the voice of Illidan from Warcraft III. He met Aaron at a wedding, Peter at a wedding, and he doesn't talk about how he met Don in public. His favorite movies used to be Star Wars, and now he floats in a limbo looking for the next geek messiah. He is an avid Pastafarian.-------------Don Marshall: Don works for a 'secret' video game company. He works as a Quality Assurance test lead, heading up a group of people as they test upcoming video games, looking for programming bugs, game play continuity errors, exploits, game balance issues, etc.. Basically, he's in charge of making sure that the final video game you buy is as clean of bugs as possible. He will also one day be a producer or a game designer its only a matter of time.----------------------Peter Robinson: Peter does mainly ghost writeing. From what I hear the work he does is excellent, but since he and I cant legally name names, I suggest going out and reading every book out there and perhaps one of them will be his. He aspires to be a writer-director, and we are all sure that he will one day succeed.
Influences: Geekson talks about anything and everything sci-fi, technology, fantasy, and videogame related. From D&D to Firefly, Star Wars to Star Trek, Time travel to LoTR. If your a hardcore geek, or just an average guy thats only seen Star Wars then Geekson is for you.
Sounds Like: Geekson is among the funniest podcasts on the net. They have inside jokes that some will only know about if you listen to the show often not just once, and they have segments on each episode that are unique and you dont need to know a thing about Geekson to get the humor. They can also be serious at times, but always in a good way. Listen to one or two episodes thats all we ask, and we know you will be hooked.
Record Label: You can find the Geeks on ITUNES or Geekson.com
Type of Label: None
