I'm a noun!

About Me

I take great pride in who I am and where I come from. My friends and family, distant and near, are that which I treasure most in life. The old saying, "Show me your company, and I'll tell you who you are," rings true w/ me and how I live my life. It's not that I define myself through my friends. It's just that my life would'nt be nearly as meaningful if I didn't have these people to share it with. So with that said, if you find yourself here on my page, as a visiter or friend, please take note of the people you see here and who they are, then you will learn more about me and who I am.
Also, you should click on the link below to check out the social network that my good friend, Ryan Flannagan, is making. It's pretty amazing!

My Interests

***EUGENE'S THOUGHTS***
***I'm skinny... I mean sexy... I mean smart.

***I have my moments.

***Never trust a fat fantasy writer.

***Things that are real can hurt... real good.

***I miss the Tucson Tamale Lady.

***My pics can be a bit random at times, but it's how I see the world... randomly.

***I'm a hugger.

***I prefer it when people talk to me... not at me.

***What is it about driving a van that makes me feel like I'm the shit?

***'There's a bluebird in my heart that wants to get out
but I'm too tough for him
I say, stay in there
I'm not going to let anybody see.'

***I'm only as deep as the self that I dig

***Drawing and painting can be good as well as bad. Sometimes it helps me to forget and other times all it does is make me remember. It's like music but much more frustrating.

***If you ever play "Truth or Dare" and you pick "Truth," then you're a wuss.

***I hate cake. I'm more of a pie man.

***I miss the desert and the monsoons that pass over my home town in the middle of summer. The wonderful smell of the creosote plant would always fill the air after the showers passed.

***Trains are the shit too! Especially when you can just bearly hear them in the distance when falling asleep. And the feeling you get when you're real close to a moving train is... well it's fuckin hot! You can feel the earth under your feet moving while its low hum vibrates in your head with occasional shrieks of metal against metal as it's horn wails for all the world to hear. It's awesome! I guess you could say that I have a thing for trains.

***I may not be the ideal, but I've always been the exception.

***You will have every kind of kiss in every kind of way in every possible place when we are together.

***Integrity is not about convenience.

***'Wait, young man. You can't escape destiny by running away...'

***It freaks me out when birds suddenly appear.

***"Please." & "Thank you." Such awesome power in such simple words.

***When I was a kid, I loved to play imagination. I would always be catching robbers with my index finger as a gun and hiding behind trees for protection. These days there just never seems to be enough trees.

***Sometimes, the truth is over rated.

***If you think you're better than me, it's your loss.

***Love unexpressed, dies.

***Grammy would always say how the internet was a bad thing because my uncle was totally addicted to it... sometimes I think she was write. My other grandma, Gammy Jean, once said "Aint no kitten gonna fuck this cat," after one of my brothers old girlfriends lied to her. I loved it!

***My mom once gave me a pet rock on which she had written, "Honor your dreams and you will honor me." She's always been such a huge source of inspiration for me. She's by far the strongest woman I've ever known.

***Female bears have a vagina.

***My first cassette was a modern english album. (I stole it from my sister.) My first 2 CDs were Digital Underground with the Humpty Hump song on it and INXS's the X album. What can I say... I rock!

***Faith is something I have in people, not religion. Both are, without question, totally inconsistent and flawed, but only one of them can I look in the eye.

***Speaking of religion, the only thing they all can agree on is "The Golden Rule." Now that's something I can believe in.

***We choose the directions and we draw the lines. From which, we must also decide on which side we shall stand.
