Amish Racecar is more than just a band....its a little nugget of truth and good times. Screw that statement...its a way of life. After eons of planning, pieces of what should be are now coming together. To Amish Racecar nothing means more to have people shaking their asses and drinking it down while spouting out "Yea, I have been there before" time and time again. So strap on your racing helmets, load up your buggy, and get ready to rock out like its 1899. The Amish Gansters are coming to town! Dan Hatch - guitar, bass, no keyboards, and screams
Brett "Homie" Sackett - guitars, maybe vocals, bass, turning knobs, commuting on Sundays
Matt Holland - drums, pissing off neighbors, maybe guitars, and he can sing better than all of us combined
Matt Keogh - Yea, he is still around in the background somewhere doing something or other.
Influences: All styles of music have inspired up to create in some way. Our biggest influences would be bands like Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Primitive Radio Gods, Jewel, White Zombie, Green Day, Munkafust, and LGS.
Sounds Like: Our goal is to have a fresh sound that is grooving and fun. We want to make people think and have them relate to our experiences while throwing out some phat grooves and booty-shaking inducing tunes. There isn't an exact "sounds like" here...except it sounds like fun to come see us rÃ´k out.
