being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up

About Me

So I'm a senior at the University of Minnesota, which I just transferred to from River Falls, WI for Chemical Engineering. I really love to hang out, laugh (even if it's at myself)and just have a good time. I enjoy reading, and yes I know that I'm a nerd (and I have no problems with that!) . But that doesn't mean that I'm smart, because I think that everyone is smart in their own way and I don't like it when people think that I smart just because of my major, because it's way too much pressure, and there's a lot that I don't know anything about. I love music, peircings, tattoos (I can't wait to get my next ones). Making new friends is really fun, but I can be kidna shy, until you get to know me . . . So yeah, not so sure that really says all that much about me, but I tried.

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

My Interests

Hmm, well isn't this a broad subject?? I enjoy reading, math problems, The OC, working out, Broomball, hockey (but just watching), Soccer was fun freshman year (intramural, of course), partying is a good time, music is core to my existance, and concerts are so much fun!!, and I think that's where I'll leave you . . . to discover more on your own, scary I know.

I'd like to meet:

I'd really like to meet people who can teach me things about life and how they see the world, but really, anyone is welcome, and I love making new friends!

Music:

Gatsby's American Dream, Saves the Day, The Killers, Rooney, The Starting Line, The Format, Yellowcard, Story of the Year, Simple Plan, Something Corporate, Sugarcult, Alkaline Trio, Death Cab for Cutie, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Midtown, Panic! at the Disco, Jack's Mannequin, Plain White T's . . . (look at my friends, that'll give you a clue)

Movies:

Saved, Lola Rennt, The Bourne Identity, Fight Club, The Ladies Man, Remember the Titans, Ocean's 11, Dogma, Mall Rats, 16 Candles, The Breakfast Club, Office Space, Mighty Ducks, The Karate Kid (how long has it been since you've seen that movie??), Billy Madison, and who could forget Boondock Saints??

Television:

The O.C., Family Guy

Books:

Deception Point, by Dan Brown totally rocks! The Blackbird mysteries by Nancy Martin are enjoyable. Otherwise I'm a nerd, so I like sci-fi/fantasy, oh well!

Heroes:

I don't know if this really applies to heros, but something i really admire, is people who are aware of their lives, and know things, and can teach others in turn, or know that they don't have things figured out, and don't worry about it. (i'm having a hard time really articulating what i mean . . .)
