Static Discourse (no longer finest hour)

Static Discourse is a melodic piano duo coming from the Twin Cities of Minnesota. Brandyn Anderson and Matt Svendsen were originally members of the piano pop-rock group Finest Hour and after recent happenings and changing interests they have decided to change the name of the group and start things off fresh with some new great music.
Static Discourse is currently working in their home studio preparing and recording demos of their upcoming full length release. These demos will be available for your listening pleasure via myspace and purevolume as they are completed. You may expect to hear the first of the batch in the next coming week or two. Oh... and something that may excite all of you.. We are doing some work on Letters Back Home and Fishing For Compliments and they will be featured on our upcoming cd :)
Some Questions You May Have For Us
Q: Where can I hear the old Finest Hour music? A: We are in the process of creating a Finest Hour listening page on myspace that you will be able to access to listen to and download all of the songs we have released during our time under the name Finest Hour.
Q: When will be playing your next live show?
A: Currently our next scheduled live show is set for Friday November 7th at Trocederos in Minneapolis, MN. This is a cd release show for the band Saluting the Rockies. This show is going to be a huge opportunity for you to hear all of the music being released on our upcoming full length! We will also be scheduling some smaller shows for between then and now to get the locals a little heads up on what we have been up to and a taste of our newly enriched sound.
Q: What about merch?
A: We will be releasing cd's, t-shirts, stickers and more soon so keep your eyes peeled to our page for updates including a new online merch store for those of you that are unable to make it to a live show.
