"If we could read the secret history of our enemies, we should find in each man's life
sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility"

My Interests

let's see... boxing, bball, vball, sball, yoga, running, wakeboarding, snowboarding, psuedo-surfing, hiking, biking... bring it! Oh, and sunshine- (LOTS) And really anything new to learn... It's kind of ridiculous, actually. biggest challenge (and fear): boredom (although rarely a problem) biggest pet peeve: walking SLOWLY next to someone. Please, just don't do it (you know who you are)

Music:

At age 8 I believed that my air supply, quiet riot, micheal jackson, and cindy lauper LPs (and occasional Neil Diamond 8 track) were all I would ever need… until age 14 when sinead o’conner, led zeppelin, pink floyd, and danzig captured my soul (and I’m sure I was THAT dramatic about it). Now... I just let my music take me where my heart wants to go. Wait- maybe cat stevens said that first. whatever, he's detained. Well anyway, my friends’ music is really where it’s at: hello stranger, melissa moshe, kimmi hall. Shit, I can’t forget the King (Elvis lives). he does i saw him. Although, he did look kind of... Asian. ahh... people change.

Movies:

taps, on golden pond, natural born killers, aimee & jaguer, motorcycle diaries, il postino, what the bleep..., closer, girls girls girls (starring elvis), girl happy (also… starring elvis), the trouble with girls (…starring…yeah, elvis) ...maybe it's his fault, ma

Television:

golden girls (I especially enjoy the theme song), weeds, three's company, dog bites man!!

Books:

V.C. Andrews series 1 thru 89 (okay, more so during the quiet riot/air supply years… but, boy can they still be alluring, John Kennedy Toole- Confederacy of Dunces, Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius,The World According to Garp-Irving. Ayn Rand, Anais Nin, Jean Auel, Isabel Allende,Vladimir Nabokov. And ya know... any good read or new research on metaphysical or psychoanalytical theories:)
