There is no greater joy in my life then to feel and know the magnificence of this universe...moment by moment...I believe that the only meaning in life is the meaning we give to it and I prefer to be in awe and inspired by all that is around me...I tend to find much to be grateful for..albeit at times, through contrast!...I generally look for the best in people...albeit at times, to my detriment (well, at least temporarily until I can see the blessing)!...call me naive...call me an optimist...Though, I am no fool and one of the smartest, wittiest, most intuitive chicks you will ever meet!...I love life and love flows through me and my life is an expression of appreciation for the opportunity to learn and grow...right now, in this very second...in the presence and the power of what is...(yeh, blah, blah...but I mean it!!!)
In my perfect life I spend quality time in nature every single day. I see the ocean (or at least some body of water) and the sun shines down on me as I walk amongst the trees and flowers and take in the beauty all around me. There are no immediate deadlines and rarely are there any pressing appointments. I enjoy the freedom and flow of what makes my heart sing and abundant creativity expresses through me...UPDATE...GUESS WHAT? As of November 27th 2006, this has become my reality! I manifested my request from the universe (oh, I did the work, created the resources and took the action steps too:). I bought a lovely house with a backyard that is 170 acres of protected woodlands, trees, rocks, lakes and streams! This is better than I imagined it would be. I could not be more grateful for this blessing.
I do my best to live and love life to the fullest and appreciate every gift that the universe gives to me... I love to visit unknown lands, both near and far, and meet my fellow earthlings, whenever I can. Oh, and those who come into my life are real, cool, warm, thinkers, communicators, loving, kind, truly caring and just a little bit different.... Connections are meaningful, fun and authentic...Please know that I don't have time for idle 'chit chat'...If you have something to say, then say it...engage me!...enchant me!...
My niece picked the first several photos for me to post and sat down next to me so I could get this started! She's a doll--Love her!! I am a New Yorker living in Connecticut (50 miles north of the city and still spend time in New York with family and friends in Manhattan, LI and Queens). I have been called a true dichotomy--intensely committed to my personal and spiritual development (as an awakened human with an expanded consciousness -- not boring--really fun!) AND my professional career and financial success. Creative ideas and modes of expression flow through me in a constant stream and while I feel blessed by the abundance, there just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to do everything I would love to. I don't sleep very much...HA!
I definitely think 'outside the box' and part of what I do for a living is help others to do the same. I have been told that I am at times way too deep and more analytical than the average thinker. Yet, I tend to also be quite light-hearted and have a dorky aspect to my personality that can be entertaining (at least it keeps me entertained!). You can get a sense of my silliness by reading the fill in quizzes on here...
I appreciate thoughtful, intelligent communication and even witty sarcasm, but don't tend to give my time to those who project rudeness and people who just like to be mean and crude. I respect honest expression and I am not scared of intensity and passion yet, I still believe things can be said in a conscious caring way (and I like humor and a good laugh, too). I love when people know they can be who they are with me and there is nothing better then when I can just be who I am with others. I live from my own truth (or as I have been known to say, 'my current illusion'!)and do not waste time on regrets. I know I would not be who I am today if not for the journey I have taken. I believe that wisdom comes through extracting the learning from all of life's experiences and making new choices...
While I am an introvert at heart (even though I have been on the stage since the age of 2 and part of my work still places me in front of large audiences), I am also an independent, free thinker who enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life with varying points of views. I do however, have little tolerance for blanket statements that are representative of ignorance and judgment. ("Be green and keep growing or decide you're ripe and rot!") Nonetheless, I am a strong advocate of self-expression and the importance to 'Know ThySelf' and 'Be Here Now' and fundamentally I do believe, and work to achieve the steady knowing that 'Love is all there is, all else is illusion'. I also seem to live like this, 'Keep knocking, and the joy inside will eventually open a window and look out to see who's there' and this, 'Your vision will become clear when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.' Can you tell me who the authors are of all of those quotes?

Some people interpret how I express myself and the fact that I am not an open book as meaning that I am uptight, ultra-conservative, asexual or (heaven forbid) boring. Whatever! Who I really am is only revealed to the precious few who get to enter the 'inner circle'. :)
I do occasionally send things that inspire me or I find interesting around on the bulletin. Until then, this page and a few of the blogs I have posted will have to suffice to give you a sense of who I am...Oh, and my sister sent me this picture because it reminded her of me...
I have spent and do spend, most of my life focused intently on my inner wealth...and the rewards of this journey have been well worth the discipline. While my spiritual path and quest for knowledge are my highest values, it took me a long time to honor the many forms of richness. My quest now is to live 'inwardly' and 'outwardly' abundantly. So, I have been busy building my empire lately (! -- my long term objective is a foundation for healing and creativity) and have not been very social. I realize that I do appreciate the synergy that happens when you make a connection with the right people.
I have many of things that keep my mind going and I also love to be active physically -- especially outdoors -- hiking, biking, walking around the city, the country and exploring foreign lands, playing in the ocean... but I don't get out to do that very much and drag myself to the gym pretty much every day. I definitely place a high value on taking care of my health and well being (but I am far from a nut!) and limit the late night partying (though, I can still party!). I used to go dancing several nights a week -- because dancing makes me happy (and you know in NYC the party never ends) but I am NOT a 'club chick'. It's been awhile since I have been enticed to do so. I love to dance and with hot music and a cool crowd, I can stay there all night! As of May 2007, I am now a student of ballroom and Latin dancing taking private lessons every week and I am having a blast!
Fundamentally, I desire connection and understanding, fits of laughter and a goofy smile on my face. Give me curiosity, expansiveness, ridiculousness and silly. This non-conformist, free-spirited artist, singer song-writer, vibrational & hands-on healer, transformational coach/teacher/trainer, intuitive and spiritual mentor and author is up for fun and adventure.
Because I am a writer--(couldn't tell, right? -- yes, I even co-authored a book that got major props from Mark Victor Hansen--I have also been the 'opening act' for Wayne Dyer and a featured teacher/trainer for T. Harv Eker's Peak Potentials and Dr. John F. Demartini's (he was in 'The Secret') Concourse of Wisdom, I often spend a lot of time on the computer.
