I am a Guitar Fanatic. I love Guitars, cool Amplifiers and any Sound Altering Gadget you can hook up to them. I also enjoy modifying Guitars. Any kind of Instrument that makes a sound, I want one. This is obvious, just look at our cluttered home. It's a nice clutter.
People of interest and character. Vocalists,Musicians(Bar Jumpers to Pros) Sound Techs. Roadies,Stage Hands, Couch Strummers(not strokers)Old Hippies, People that just enjoy Music. People that enjoy having fun.
PEOPLE I DON'T WANT TO MEET: People that don't try,People that are rude, disrespectful, that don't take care of thier kids and are all about themselves. I already know enough of these people and you know who you are.

The first songs I remember singing were "Chantilly Lace"(The Big Bopper) El Paso(Marty Robins)I can barely remember going to the Grand Ole Opry(Ryman Auditorium) and seeing Marty perform. Later in the 1980s I had the honor of doing Sound at several shows for Ronnie Robins, with his dads original band. As a young child I was also known for imitating Elvis doing, "You aint nothin but a Houndog" with a broom stick and shaking hips. My dad was a great Guitar player and there was a lot of jamming at our house. I would sit for hours watching. I started trying to play when I was 8 years old. Johnny Rivers was a big influence with his hits like "Mountain of Love" and "Secret Agent Man" That was the first Guitar solo I learned. The British Invasion hit America and it seemed like every kid I knew had a Guitar or a set of Drums. One evening The Beatles performed on the Ed Sullivan show. I had never heard or seen anything like it. That show changed my life as well as many other aspiring Musicians. Thank you Fab Four. I like many Genres of Music. My favorite Music to perform live would be 70s, 80s, 90s Rock. I enjoy Country old and new, Cajun(AYEEEEE), Zydeco, say Bluegrass and you have my attention, Latin Rythmns(everybody Samba),Rap(small doses), Rockabilly,CHECK OUT SCOTT K AND THE CONTINENTALS FOR A TASTE OF SOME DOWN TO EARTH ENTERTAINMENT. BUY A CD @10.00ea OR OR SPECIAL DEAL TWO FOR $20.00. CHECK OUT LITTLE RACHEL FROM KANSAS CITY,MO. SHE IS A LIL O FIREBALL ON STAGE. There are many young Musicians I am very impressed with. John Mayer is an eye opening performer as well as Maroon V. I could go on and on. I could be listening to a Patsy Cline CD and the next one to play might be Audioslave. I have always kept a very open mind when it comes to Music. PLAY IT AGAIN JIM!
