Mariske Hekkenberg is an allround and experienced singer. She cannot and will not chose between various musical styles, hence she's developed her own style in all genres.She is regularly touring in Europe with the Glenn Miller Orchestra directed by Wil Salden and is a freelance singer with different bands. Her specialty is performing acoustically (and often fully unplugged) with both jazz and pop repertoire. With her own female vocale group Femme Vocale, Mariske participated at the National Song Contest (pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest) with the song "Stay". Since last year, she is also writing a capella vocal arrangements for Femme Vocale.Mariske is an experienced studio/session singer (lead and backing vocals, as well as voice-over) in various styles (pop, rock, jazz). Since many years her voice can be also be heard in numerous dance/trance productions. The most recent collaboration is with Russian DJ Bobina. Mariske delivered the vocals for his 2008 release of Slow, an offical cover version of Kylie Minogue's hit record.
