I guess it's about time to change this a little and maybe give a little more body to my profile. I started as a folky back in the day. That thrown in with a classical singing background, and sure I listened to my share of rock groups too. But somehow, the acoustic roots stuck, they just felt more like me, and I've stayed on that track for my entire musical career.
I started right back where I ended up, in New Jersey (and I don't say New Joisay). Along the trip to 'there and back again' I had the chance to play in San Diego for a while, Phoenix for a longer while, and finally made my way back across the country to home.
Playing cover tunes for many years, I always picked some of the more obscure ones to play. Things people might not know, but I always felt should. It doesn't always create the most popularity, but it never was really my intention. Just sharing good music, meeting and making new friends, and always trying to learn a little bit from the next guy.
Eventually, I had written enough material myself where I was doing a set of covers and a set of Wayne's and getting some nice feedback (well, comments, feedback generally just hurts my ears.... and I've had my share of that too).
So now here I am on Myspace. Making new friends, sharing music, still learning a thing or two (especially about getting a decent recording) and now having the whole world with whom I can now share my love of this wonderful form of art.
Hope you enjoy, and wishing you the ability to find love in your hearts, peace in your souls, and time to do all the things that make you happy.
If you come to New Jersey, look me up, door's always open (but I got three big dogs so better knock first). - Wayne
