About Me
My name is Mark. I'm an artist, a graphic designer, a video editor, a Ronald Reagan conservative, a registered Republican, a native Texan, a proud American, and a supporter of President Bush and the war on terror.
Best of all, I'm a Christian and proud of it! I'm a member of the Church of Christ.
I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. I'm a bit pleasantly plump, but that's OK because I'm one heck of a nice guy. I have my strengths and my shortcomings. Overall, I'm a genuine human being and I'm worth getting to know.
For about 2 now, I've been legally blind in both eyes due to the eye condition kerataconous. My left eye was operated on in April 2006 (corneal transplant), and the sight in my left eye slowly began to return. Now, nearly a year later, my left eye is doing really good. My sight is good once again. My eagle eye for detail is back. In fact, I'm even driving again. Praise be to God almighty! I'm now looking for work and trying to get things back on track.
I fervently believe that God was with me during my time of near blindness and delivered me from it. Numerous things could have gone wrong, but they didn't. Many prayers were said on my behalf, and they have been and are being answered. I cannot begin to state the amount of joy I feel since I now have good eyesight again. I will, for sure, say that God is great!
Eventually I plan to get my right eye operated on. I don't know when yet. By the grace of God, I will have my full sight back in both eyes one fine day.
