About Me

I was in a band called Monuments Large until we realized recording an album entirely over aol instant messenger was really fuckin hard.
Now I run an open mic night at my friends bar, Slick and Reds . I play a few cover songs solo that I work out usually the night before, then sit back and drink on a wednesday while I listen to some of the many talented people that have been coming out there. Finally I got my own PA (like bradley said) so I really feel excited about playin out more.
I own a business: Cape Fear Comps . Mostly I do in-home networking, training, and build computers. I specialize in wireless media installs, and can come with a solution to fit your needs. Basically I sell lazyness. My goal this summer, since I'm not taking classes, is to jumpstart this business into a full time thing..
I love summer because the last one made me really believe truth is stranger than fiction, so I came up with an idea to constantly try and prove that wrong so it will constantly prove me wrong. I believe in touching people using the 2nd definition of the word, humor them or whatnot, and the karma that this produces. The sooner you believe, you figure out that art is the link between the two; truth and fiction. I also believe in polar opposites. I think it was Stonewall Jackson that said "let us at once to bed, and see if tomorrow we cannot do something." For me its more like "let us tomorrow to bed, and see if at once we cannot do something" Sometimes I stay up so late to the point of not being able to keep my eyes open because thats when I feel like im the most alive, and that I've figured out the world. I wake up lost every day. The immediate cure for this is the beach, which makes me happy because I learned that you can get tired from doing nothing rather than from being up doing everything.
