About Me

I'm a happily married man to a beautiful young lady. I don't take myself very seriously, and as such I'm a blast to be around. Trust me... You want to hang out with me. I'm that cool. Or at the very least, you could point and laugh at me. Go ahead, my kids do. So does my lovely bride, but for entirely different reasons. Family and friends are what make my life purposeful. Since I'm pretty inarticulate when it comes to writing about myself, here are random facts about me: I've been arrested for sticking up for family. I love The Dallas Mavericks, but will watch anything NBA. I love the Miami Dolphins, but will watch anything NFL. College Football? HOOK 'EM!!!! College Hoops? UCONN 1st and foremost, but still gotta follow the Horns too! I suck at Golf, but I love it. I love live theatre. I'm very proud to be an American, but despise "political talk", and I tend to avoid politcal discussions. I will try ALMOST anything at least once (key word being: almost). I'm a proud parent of three. Real life didn't start for me until I met my wife. And that, my friends, is Mikol in a nut-shell!!!

My Interests

Theatre. Football, Basketball, Rock Climbing, Adventure Races, BodyBuilding/Fitness, Roller Blading, and pretty much anything else that's active. Dallas Mavericks. Miami Dolphins. UT Football (HOOK 'EM!!!). UCONN Basketball. UT Basketball (remember when you were little and you were allowed 2nd favorites? That's what this is!). Reading and Writing. Comedy and Acting. Singing (again... that's an "interest", but I'm not going to put anybody else through listening to my crazy off-pitch ass). People Watching.

I'd like to meet:

Specifically... Cutie O'Hotbody... Other than that? Everyone!!! I live by the idea, "There are no strangers in the world, only friends you haven't met yet." Corny, but as I said, it's an "idea" that I live by, and with that approach (if it's genuine) you'll find good friends in the least likely places. Hell, my sister-in-law is a frickin' Aggie, but I still love her. OU? Let's not push it.

Music:

WOW... Let's just say pretty much anything that's not country and not classical. Aside from those two I'll pretty much give it a shot. From "Fitty" to Kelly Clarkson and from Pantera to Dave Matthews. Kick it old school? Sure... Throw in some N.W.A. and GNR. Slick Rick and some Motley Crue. Want some Danzig? I got some. Mighty, Mighty Bosstones? Beastie Boys? Billy Joel? Got it , got it, got it!!! COUNTRY? DON'T GOT IT!!!! In case you were wondering... The greatest band to ever walk the Earth... U2.

Heroes:

Arnold. C'mon people! The guy's an Autrian bodybuilder-turned-businessman-turned-blockbuster attraction-turned-California Governor. Steve Nash -- Again... A short, white, Canadian named MVP of the NBA? TWICE!!!! That's awesome!!! Who else? Let's see... My wife who is a tremendous talent. She's been the most lovely bride, supportive wife, and most loving mother. My brother Chris, his wife Jen, and my brother-in-law Kennedy for ensuring the freedom of my children by serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. My sister Kym and my brothers (Chris and Jon) for keeping me humble, listening and understaning, and calling me out when I need to be (plus my sister can out bench-press me). My mom and dad for teaching me more about life than they know. And my children who teach me patience, discipline, and unconditional love on an ever-evolvong basis.
