Doug found himself in a Glasgow bar in early 2008. From that piont on it was clear that there was a strong musical conection; with similar influences and a desire to make music with guitars, drums and basses the ball was set in motion. One commentator commented "it is rare to find a drummer, guitar player and bassist who, in terms of music, think identically. Although i have heard there are large political differences in the band". But these differences aside, the band went striaght to the recording studio to create some music where the drummer only goes out of time occasionally; where the guitar player bums only a few notes; and where the bassist does indeed play most of the right notes at the right time, only occaionally playing the right notes at the wrong time, but never plays the wrong notes at the right time. Mixed and produced by the band themselves the results are truley audible; another commentator commented that it was amazing how he could hear the bass, guitar, drums and vocals playing at the same time. The band have so far refused to play live together, forcing an individual member to brave the elements on his own for the rigorous touring schedual. Indeed both gigs were widely aclaimed by a very small number of people...thanks stevie.
