The Standard is probably my favorite band, other good ones include (currently) yeah yeah yeahs, air, low, arcade fire, BRMC, breeders, wolf parade, vanishing kids, sleater-kinney, legendary shack shakers, murder city devils, kid dakota, metric, GBV, the gossip, high violets, and then of course the 80 staples, the older classics (cash, dylan) and every once in a while I go back to my industrial/goth roots.
