About Me
Hey thanks for visiting my "space". I got photos, reel and my music in on my official site-just a click away. WWW.BRITTPRENTICE.COM-there are lots of goodies there. The latest and greatest, in-depth bio, MP3 music, reviews, photos, and more.WHAT I'VE DONE LATELY: Discovery/Bally's national commercial(riding a lawnmower), CHARMED(Parole Officer), PASSIONS(Security Guard-recurring), GHANDI AT THE BAT(as BABE RUTH), A DIRTY SHAME(Biker) to name a few.
Also: writing screenplays/show ideas-have three finished and others in process. I have a short I want to shoot and looking for crew etc.
******The REASON I say "invest in you favorite arts" is if you like, really like, or love an artist(not just their art persay but them as a person too) than don't just expect them to "hook you up". Hook THEM up so they can continue to be creative-GET INVOLVED IN ANY WAY YOU CAN. Buy a CD, a painting, a DVD, invest in them small to show encouragement. If you have the resources then back them(with capital or with other things) so they can prosper and continue.
God gave some people the gift of a talent and others the gift of resources so the two can compliment each other. If everyone was creative, the world would be beautiful but destroy itself in chaos. If everyone had resources, then no one would have none, but the world would be without passion, creativity, and genius. And would die of desperation, greed and eternal indifference. We need to support and help each other in very special, but different, ways.
Someone once wrote, "ThErE Is No GrEaTeR TYRANNY ThAn ThE UnSeEn MASTERPIECE". This tyranny we can change if we(YOU) be a PART of the creative process, not just see the finished product-it's so much more rewarding too.******A LITTLE BACKGROUND:
I was a clown in my school days, was in all the plays, in bands, and choirs, and
even started writing music in middle school. I decided to study music and went to the University of Miami (Fla)on a scholarship. I didn't forget theatre though and studied that as well. I released my own CD(to rave reviews-VIBE MAGAZINE), sung our National Anthem all over the country(LA Lakers, Dodgers, Washington Redskins, Chicago Cubs, World Cup Soccer, Miami Heat to name a few), and worked with the likes of Debbie Allen, Patti LaBelle, Chris Rock, Jon Secada, John Waters, John Travolta, Tracey Ullman and Chris Izaak.
